Overview
The 10th Russian Petroleum Congress (RPGC) will take place on 26-28 June 2012 at Expocentre in Moscow, Russia.
Russia’s prominent role in the oil, gas and petroleum community relies on leading industry events such as RPGC to stay informed about the strategic, commercial and technological aspects of the dynamic Russian oil and gas sector.
The congress provides an international forum for debate and open discussion, and features presentations by representatives from the government Ministries, key players from the global energy industry and leaders of major oil and gas mpanies.
The 3 day congress programme will consist of plenary sessions, special focus sessions, and roundtable discussions on strategic issues, trends and development prospects within the Russian oil and gas sector.
The event is attended by senior representatives from the domestic and international oil and gas industry; industrial ministries and departments; oil and gas associations; and financial institutions. RPGC provides exceptional opportunities for professional networking during the scheduled breaks, luncheons, gala receptions and showcase areas. The event offers direct access to some of the country's most important and influential buyers.

RPGC is annually supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Council of the Federation Committee on National Resources and Environmental Protection of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the International Gas Union (IGU), Union of Oil & Gas Producers of Russia, the Russian state owned, Rosneft and the world’s largest extractor of natural gas, Gazprom.
Rosneft is the traditional partner of the Oil Day of the Congress programme while Gazprom is traditionally a partner of the Gas Day. Both companies consistently support and contribute to all events within the 3 day’s events.
