RPGC once again has the support of the Ministry of Energy of Russia. Both the Minister of Energy, Sergey Shmatko and the Deputy Minister of Energy, Victor Orlov will speak at the Congress this year.

Day 2 of RPGC will feature the 2nd Russia-Iran Conference. The event is supported by the Technology Innovation Cooperation Centre by the President of Iran, and the Pooyan Research Institute of Energy.
The session which will include officials from Russian and Iranian energy companies, and representatives from the Iranian Government, will focus on the 'Development of Cooperation in the Oil & Gas Sector'.

The RPGC programme will feature for the first time, a Special Focus session on offshore Arctic Field Development, hosted by the drilling services company, BSK RINAKO. The session will be chaired by Gani Gilayev, Vice-President of Rosneft, and will focus on the development strategy for exploration and field development, basins of hydrocarbon concentration and related projects initiated by Rosneft in the Arctic region.
